Christenings/Baptisms at All Saints' Church, Leamington Spa

We would be delighted to discuss your child's Christening/Baptism (or indeed, your own). Normally this takes place in your own Parish Church or a church with which you already have links. If you live in another parish and wish the ceremony to take place at All Saints' without already having a link with us, we will need to ask for the goodwill of your own Vicar.

Christenings take place on certain Sunday mornings by arrangement, during the main service of the day which is normally at 10.30am. Please make arrangements with us before fixing the date, as not every Sunday is available.
During COVID-19, Christenings will take place by arrangement on Sunday afternoons. There is a limit on numbers attending and singing is not permitted. However, we will do our best to make the occasion memorable and meaningful.

Lots of useful information about Christenings can be found on the Church of England Christenings website.

We welcome people of all ages to worship with us, both for Christening services and on other occasions. For parents with young children, the experience can feel daunting. Please be assured that we provide a warm and understanding welcome, nappy changing facilities, and a play area (should concentration lapse) equipped with Bible stories, colouring materials, and some other resources. The Urquhart Room is normally available during services both as an area suitable for breastfeeding, and as a soundproof place to escape to should that become necessary (it rarely is). The service can be heard in the Urquhart Room through a speaker. It's always a delight when parents bring their children to church, whether for a Christening or on any other occasion - and if you feel relaxed about bringing your children, they will enjoy the experience more too.

Please use the form below to make initial contact, or ring the Parish Office (01926 429169) on a Wednesday, Thursday or Friday morning from 10.00am. Thank you.
