Welcome to All Saints' Parish Church, Leamington Spa
growing community, generosity, holiness

All Saints is the historic Parish Church for the town and all its people. We have an open and inclusive tradition, and welcome married, partnered (civil or otherwise) and single, LGBT+ and straight people of diverse ages, backgrounds, nationalities, and abilities (including children). Whether you're a lifelong, devout Christian, an atheist, an agnostic, a searcher after truth, or just an 'ordinary' person, we invite you to come.

We welcome and affirm the ministry of women as well as men in the ordained ministry of the church.

Currently we are running support groups online only for new parents, and for people who identify as LGBT+. We look forward to resuming a much broader community-focused ministry when it is safe and legal to do so.

Public in-person worship to re-start
Public worship in church has regrettably been suspended for the time being, but services continue online.
We will resume public worship in church on Sunday 7th March with the 8.00am service of Holy Communion (only). This will also be live-streamed. The 10.30am service will be live-streamed only.
We plan to resume other services in person soon, provisionally from 21 March.

Lent
  • Apply to join our private Facebook group, 'Lent 21 Reflections on the Journey'. Receive and respond to a daily meditation, poem or thought.
  • Register to join our Living in Love and Faith study group (every Monday evening during March) by sending your name and email address to the Vicar.
  • Read the Archbishop's Lent book, 'Living His Story' by Hannah Steele.
  • Make (and keep) a resolution to live more simply and sustainably, reduce your carbon footprint, reduce the waste you produce.

Funerals & Memorial Services
The Vicar is available for funerals and these can now be held at the crematorium, at the graveside, or in church, with a limit on numbers attending and no singing. We would also be pleased to arrange memorial services in church in due course.

Weddings
Please contact us to talk through the options with the Vicar.

Baptisms/Christenings
Please contact us if you'd like to arrange a Baptism (Christening).

Check our Facebook page for the latest information and worship resources.

Further opportunities for prayer and worship can be found on the Church of England website.

Grant Award
We're delighted to have received a grant of £18,080 from Historic England's Covid-19 Emergency Heritage at Risk Response Fund towards essential urgent patch repairs to the roofs of the Chancel, South Transept, Memorial Chapel, and All Souls' Chapel. The work is now complete.

The funding is part of the Government's Cultural Recovery Fund #HereForCulture and will both help to preserve the building, and provide employment opportunities to skilled craftspeople.

Currently we have an approx £12,000 shortfall in the funding of this project. Donations are greatly appreciated, as always. Our PayPal link is on this page: http://www.allsaintschurchleamington.org.uk/making-a... - or contact us for other ways, such as bank transfer. Many thanks.

Organ Roof Appeal

East end of the church showing exterior of Lady Chapel and clock tower
Have you enjoyed listening to the church organ - at a concert, at a wedding or funeral, at Christmas, at a regular service?

Or have you appreciated the lovely prayerful space of the Lady Chapel, tucked away beneath the organ pipes?

These are at risk of water damage if we don't re-roof the Organ Loft. We need to do the work before the winter weather sets in, and the project is already out to tender. With associated work to protect the organ during the works, the cost is likely to be £80k.

Can you help us raise the money? Our Organ Roof page has details.

Thank you very much indeed.

We participate in Eco Church.
