Warwick & Leamington LGBTXians at All Saints' Parish Church Leamington Spa
We seek to treat people as people, and to welcome everyone who comes through our doors in the name of Christ. However, we are keenly aware that LGBTQIA+ people have not always felt welcome or wanted within the wider Church.
The good news is, there are several churches in Leamington who are now openly welcoming and affirming, and we are delighted to be one of them. We do not exclude anyone from attending church or from contributing to or leading our worship - anyone and everyone really is welcome at All Saints', and we won't ask you to change! We believe that God makes us as we are and that to reject God's creation would be an insult to God and to Jesus.
Whilst encouraging integration with the rest of the congregation, we have also set up a boundaried 'safe space' for LGBTQIA+ Christians and those wanting to explore Christian faith. The group meets monthly on a Saturday morning and is open to LGBTQIA+ people of any church, or who don't currently attend church. You will find a warm welcome among us! We tend to have coffee and cake, talk about our daily lives, and sometimes we have theological discussions or prayer meetings.
