School Visits to All Saints' Church, Leamington Spa

Leamington Spa is an excellent and increasingly popular destination for school RE/RS visits. All Saints' Church is ideal either as a stand-alone destination or as part of a Faiths Trail. 

Visiting schools often combine their visit here with a visit to the Gurdwara Sahib, constructed and opened in 2009, which is approximately one mile away; or the Shree Krishna Hindu Temple which is within 300 yards. Just across the river from All Saints lie the Jephson Gardens and the Pump Room Gardens, ideal for lunchtime picnics during dry weather.

At All Saints' we aim to accommodate your curricular requirements at any of the key stages. We can, for example, focus on the symbolism of the building and its furnishings, show and demonstrate artifacts and vestments (robes), or arrange a carousel of presentations of local church projects which serve the neighbourhood or the wider world. Carousel partners in the past have included (amongst others) the international peacebuilding, relief and development charity CORD, the Pathway drug/alcohol/offender rehabilitation project run by nearby St Mary's Church, and the Well Christian Healing Centre. We can also focus on topics such as Christian initiation or marriage.
